2025 Bedroom Paint Color Trends & Ideas

Your bedroom is your sanctuary. It should be THE place where you can close your door at the end of the day and relax and unwind from the busyness and noise that bombarded you throughout the day. One way to create this relaxing environment is to choose a paint color that reflects a color that you love and is calming since calming is the feel that you want to achieve in this space.

We were in an all white bedroom phase or all gray bedroom phase for awhile but thankfully we’ve grown out of that era. We now embrace warmer and calmer colors. Warm whites & creams have taken over for cool whites, and blues and green have taken over for grays.

Warm Whites & Creams Paint Colors for a Bedroom

Warm whites and creams creates a relaxing and inviting space for your bedroom. If you like neutrals in your bedroom, warm whites and creams make you feel like you’re almost away at a spa or retreat. You can create this same feeling in your own home by carefully picking spa like colors and linens & accessories to mirror this image.

Beige Paint Colors for a Bedroom

Beige took a bad rape for awhile because it leaned too much towards pink. Fortunately, beige has come a long way and we are embracing beige with a new passion as we lean into warm neutrals and warmer colors in general. If you never considered beige for a bedroom, take a look at these lovely shades of beige for a calming, relaxing spa like feel.

Are you ready for a deeper beige? Still warm and cozy but a mid-tone beige has a relaxing and calming feel to the room.

Darker Beige Bedroom Paint Colors

The prediction for this year for bedroom paint colors is darker beiges. I’m personally holding my thoughts on this one. One of my design instructors said that dark brown is not a good color for a bedroom. Its doesn’t create a great vibe in the bedroom but some of these darker beiges do look inviting.

Sherwin Williams came out with Redend Point SW 9081 as their Color of the Year 2023. It hasn’t quite taken off as I think they had hoped for but we do see this soft warm color being introduced into bedrooms. Blush is starting to gain momentum and I predict we will see more of this color going into the next year as well. Perhaps Redend Point was ahead of its time.

Blush gives off a warm romantic vibe in a primary bedroom. Painting all your walls this color may be too much for some however, using it as an accent color or in your décor like cushions and throws can creates a warm soft romantic feel to your bedroom.
